Cape Coral and environment are surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches and good water conditions. You can enjoy holidays on white sand beaches with warm water temperatures year-round.

In addition to Cape Coral in particular offer Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island, Captiva and Pine Iceland great attractions by boat or car. Directly on the beach, you can often see dolphins or even by you accompanied by a boat trip.

Fort Myers Beach is especially for families with children. The water is low in mainstream and shallow and offers security therefore reassured bathe to go with young children.  Cape Coral itself Cape Coral offers Yacht Club community park with sandy beach on the Caloosahatchee River nearby - A small beach with restaurant, sports and playground on the dolphin drive.

Bowditch Point Regional Park
This featured 70,000 sqm; Park has both beaches towards golf as well as direction Bay and welcomes visitors with pristine wide sandy beaches and beautiful views of the nearby barrier islands. There is parking behind the Pavilion. Beach lovers can also take the little train from the main road or from the car park which leaves every 15 minutes.

Lynn Hall Memorial Park
This is a great family park which is also increasingly popular among teens and young people. The center of the Park, Fort Myers Beach Pier, is anglers and flooded local waterfowl. Especially the pelicans enjoy this pier, because each post seems to have its predetermined inhabitants squat on the top. The beach to shops and restaurants gives him an extra incentive.

Bunche Beach

Causeway Beaches
These beaches, located on both sides directly on the road to Sanibel are great for swimming, fishing, windsurfing and spades nod. Just leave the car at the water, it's free! Toilets are also available.

Sanibel und Captiva
These two islands that are upstream Cape Coral / Fort Myers provide the real Caribbean - feeling, and therefore we want to devote a separate chapter them here. Sanibel is one of the few barrier islands in the world that have an East-West orientation while almost all other islands are oriented from North to South. It is therefore endowed with unique sandy beaches and an abundance of bivalve molluscs in all sizes. All public beach access you find simple toilets. Some of the beaches have picnic tables and all have parking facilities for the disabled. On some beaches snack car snacks are sold, in addition there are however little commerce. Parking on the public beaches of Sanibel and Captiva costs $ 2.00 hour. The most beautiful in these islands is the shell searches on any day at low tide the best results. The best shellfish time year is after the winter storms or the tropical storms in summer. Wind and waves to properly by have stirred the Gulf of Mexico, exploring all types of coastal surprises during the shell searching.

Captiva Beach
This is the best place to enjoy the sunset. However, here are a few parking facilities and no toilets. But parking is free.

Lighthouse Beach & Fishing Pier
This is the place where the historic but still functioning lighthouse. This is the place where that of beautiful fishing pier and a wooden nature trail through the original wetlands winds located on the eastern tip of Sanibel and enveloped by the Bay.

Here is a car park for the camper and you reach the beach through a short walk from the parking lot.

Bowman's Beach
Unaffected and quiet you will find not a single hotel. Easy to park and walk across a bridge to secluded white beach. The beach has an outdoor shower. This is the only beach on Sanibel installed with barbecue grills.

Turner Beach (Blind Pass)
This beach lies on both sides bonder: Rosalind pass bridge that connects the Sanibel and Captiva. He is very popular with clam hunters and fishermen. Due to the rapidly changing, strong currents, signs but warn bathing.
